Accessories for your Kompact Modular Staircase Kit

External Railing for Kompact Stair Kit

For some configurations, if a section of the staircase is not against a wall, you may need to include an additional section of staircase balustrading. We supply an External Railing Kit for the Kompact staircase which comprises 5 balusters, handrail and all fixings.

The diagram shows you how to calculate how many balusters you will require for the external side of the staircase. The balusters are represented on each tread by numbers and points. You'll find more information on the Advice and Downloads pages.

Riserbars for Kompact Modular Stair Kit

Riserbars fit between the treads to create a gap of less than 100mm between the treads for UK Building Regulations. If you are including any additional treads, you will need to purchase an additional riserbar for each extra tread.
