The Kompact Modular staircase kit is a stunning masterpiece of design flair, perfect for use as a main staircase in your home or to access loft rooms. A linear staircase, it features individual central tread support modules which bolt together to offer a choice of three formats, an 'L' shape with one quarter turn, a 'U' shape with two quarter turns, or as a simple straight flight. You decide where you want to drop the quarter turn into the run of the staircase and whether to turn clockwise of anticlockwise - choosing from 150 different configurations. This offers great versatility and makes the Kompact staircase a perfect choice for replacing an existing staircase - or for any spectacular new project.

The standard kit comprises 13 rises (12 treads to arrive one rise below the top floor level) and will suit a floor to floor height of between 2430mm and 2860mm (whilst complying with UK regulations for maximum tread rise). For greater floor to floor heights, we can supply additional tread kits (up to a maximum of three additional treads). The Kompact Modular stair is supplied in three colours - BLACK, WHITE or GREY - all with solid beech handrail and 42mm thick solid Beech treads with a choice of DARK or LIGHT Lacquer finish. The design details, such as the cover plates and fixing brackets, are supplied in Grey for the Grey and White staircase and in Black for the Black staircase. Italian colour flair! It is also available in a choice of two widths - 74cm and 89cm, for real versatility.
