Additional Tread Kit for Civik Zink Spiral Stair Kit

The height of the Civik Zink Spiral staircase kit with 13 risers (12 treads) is variable from 2520mm to 3050mm by adjusting the individual tread rise using the shims provided in the kit. Please note that the tread rise should be a maximum of 220mm for UK Building Regulations but the kit is designed to go up to 234mm tread rise. If you need to install to a floor to floor height which is in excess of these measurements, you can purchase additional treads UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 3 ADDITIONAL TREADS for the Civik Zink. You do not need to purchase any additional handrail but you will need to buy an additional centre pole as detailed below.

Additional Shorter Centre Pole for Non-Standard Height Civik Zink Spiral Stair

To remain within UK Building Regulations, the standard Civik Zink spiral staircase kit will fit floor heights of between 252cm and 286cm. (The standard staircase kit can, in fact, fit a floor height of up to 305cm but this will result in an individual tread rise which is too high for UK Building Regulations.)

If your floor to floor height is below 252cm or above 286cm, you may require to purchase additional shorter centre poles for the staircase to work. Please refer to the Civik Zink DATASHEET for details of any additional shorter centre poles required.
